Job summary

Shanghai Commercial Bank Ltd in Hong Kong seeks a project professional to help shape digital products leveraging AI, ML and data analytics to fuel business growth.

You will support data-driven strategies, evaluate emerging fintech tech and assist in UAT of fintech solutions, ensuring regulatory compliance and continuous improvement across functions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of experience in project management and delivery, preferably in banking and finance.
• Strong interest in FinTech technologies and trends.
• Willingness to work in an Agile environment and learn continuously.
• Open-minded, self-motivated, with good communication and problem solving skills.
• Proactive with communication, influencing and negotiation abilities; team player.
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese; Mandarin is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assist in researching and compiling requirements for digital products and solutions that incorporate AI, machine learning, and data analytics to drive business growth and innovation.
• Support the development and implementation of data-driven strategies to inform business decisions, using advanced data science techniques and tools.
• Assist in identifying and integrating emerging technologies from vendors, startups, and fintech companies to drive digital transformation.
• Participate in the development and deployment of Fintech solutions, perform UAT and provide recommendation on defect resolution.
• Conduct post-implementation performance tracking and identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with various functional units including risk and compliance team to ensure that all digital solutions meet regulatory requirements.
• Perform ad hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of experience, preferably in banking and finance, in project management and delivery, less experience will be considered as Assistant Manager position
• Keen interest in latest FinTech technologies and trends
• Strong desire to learn and able to work in Agile environment
• Be open-minded and self-motivated with good communication and problem solving skills, with a can-do attitude and has to be a good team player.
• Proactive with strong communication, influencing and negotiation skills
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese. Mandarin is an advantage.
