Job summary

AXA Hong Kong and Macau is seeking an Analyst, Business Finance on a 1-year contract to build and maintain data-driven insights. You will run daily Power BI dashboards, validate data quality, and support finance transformation initiatives by turning data into actionable reports and presentations for senior stakeholders.

The role requires 2-5 years in data analytics or BI, strong SQL/DAX/Python skills, and experience with automation tools.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence or reporting.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience.
• Strong proficiency in Power BI, SQL, DAX, and Python for data analysis.
• Experience with VBA and Power Automate for automation; familiarity with AI tools.
• Experience with enterprise systems such as AS400 and SAP is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain the daily sales Power BI dashboard to provide timely insights.
• Support data quality and integrity by updating and validating data under guidance, ensuring accuracy for reporting.
• Participate in Finance transformation projects by gathering user requirements and assisting in designing automated reports and data analysis solutions.
• Help design and create clear, easy-to-understand reports, dashboards, and presentations based on collected data.
• Contribute to data trend analysis and support problem-solving efforts to identify insights and opportunities.

• Experience with VBA and Power Automate for process automation, and familiarity with AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar technologies.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable business insights.
• Experience with AS400, SAP, or other enterprise systems, as well as exposure to the insurance or financial services industry, is an advantage.
