Job summary

Urban Renewal Authority in Hong Kong seeks an Assistant Manager, Information Technology (AI Application Development) to lead hands-on AI/ML projects, collaborating with business and IT teams to translate workflows into scalable solutions.

You will prototype and deploy AI/ML applications, design data pipelines, and implement RAG patterns and LLMOps, while ensuring security, privacy, and compliance. Fluency in English and Chinese is required.

Qualifications

Hands-on AI/ML or generative AI development with ~5 years IT experience.
Proficiency in Python and ML frameworks (scikit-learn, PyTorch/TensorFlow).
Experience with LLM solutions, RAG pipelines, prompt engineering, and LLMOps.
Understanding of cloud, on-premises, or hybrid deployments and security/compliance.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with business and IT teams to understand workflows and requirements.
Prototype, validate, and build AI/ML and automation solutions.
Define acceptance criteria and rollout approaches with stakeholders.
Design, develop, and implement end-to-end AI/ML solutions.
Build and integrate AI patterns: RAG, fine-tuning, guardrails; monitor deployment.
Prepare data: feature engineering, labeling, embeddings, data-quality checks.
Support deployment through pilots and production rollouts; troubleshoot incidents.
Monitor quality, latency, cost, security, adoption, business outcomes.
Implement AI strategy, policies, standards, and technical controls.
Evaluate emerging AI tech and proofs of concept.
