STMicroelectronics Pte Ltd is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to support the shift maintenance team for front-end module equipment in a 24/7 cleanroom environment. You will troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, electronics and control systems, plan preventive maintenance, and mentor technicians to ensure optimal tool performance.
The role requires hands-on experience with front-end process equipment, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work rotating 12-hour shifts.
Support and coordinate the shift maintenance team for front-end module equipment, ensuring effective execution of daily tasks.
Perform advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis on mechanical, electrical, electronics and control systems of process module tools.
Assist in planning and execution of preventive and predictive maintenance for assigned equipment.
Provide technical guidance, on-the-job training and mentorship to maintenance technicians.
Work closely with vendors, process engineers and internal support teams to resolve escalated equipment issues and improve tool performance.
Analyze equipment and maintenance data (downtime, MTBF, MTTR, recurring faults) and prepare accurate shift reports.
Support and participate in continuous improvement projects to enhance equipment reliability, availability and throughput.
Ensure adherence to cleanroom protocols, EHS requirements and all safety procedures during maintenance activities.
Minimum Diploma in Engineering - Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics or related engineering discipline.
Strong troubleshooting skills in semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
Hands-on experience with front-end process equipment and control systems is an advantage.
Demonstrated experience in shift-based support, team coordination or leadership roles.
Good analytical, documentation and communication skills (verbal and written).
Able and willing to work rotating 12-hour shifts in a 24/7 cleanroom manufacturing environment.
