Job summary

KLA-Tencor (Singapore) Pte Ltd is seeking a skilled engineering technician to support set-up, calibration, testing and troubleshooting of circuits, components, instruments and mechanical assemblies in a cleanroom environment.

Candidates should read drawings, work with semiconductor equipment, and be comfortable with shifts; optics alignment is advantageous. Strong troubleshooting, analytical skills, and teamwork are essential, with good communication.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Engineering.
• Ability to read technical drawings/procedures and use precision testing instruments.
• Hands-on experience with semiconductor equipment.
• Experience with optics alignment is advantageous.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills to resolve technical problems and analyze data.
• Excellent communication, teamwork and people skills required.
• Comfortable working in shifts and cleanroom environment.

• Prepares technical reports summarizing findings and recommending solutions to technical problems.
• May assist in the selection and set-up of specialized test equipment.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Engineering.
• Ability to read technical drawings/procedures and use a variety of precision testing and measuring instruments.
• Previous hands-on experience with semiconductor equipment
• Experience with optics alignment will be advantageous
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills to resolve technical problems, set up experiments, and perform data analysis.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and people skills are required.
