The Securities and Futures Commission in Hong Kong is seeking an Assistant – Intermediaries to provide essential administrative and operational support to licensing teams. You will help process license applications and prepare official correspondence while coordinating with internal stakeholders on batch work matters.
The role requires at least two years of relevant experience, strong English and Chinese skills, and solid PC proficiency including MS Office.
Reporting to the portfolio teams within the Intermediaries Division responsible for the licensing of intermediaries, the successful candidate will provide comprehensive administrative and operational support in handling license applications and related internal coordination work. Duties include assisting with the processing and vetting of license applications, preparing correspondence and documentation, liaising with internal stakeholders on batch work matters, maintaining records and filing systems, and providing general clerical and coordination support to the teams as required.
Requirements:
Completed HKCEE / HKDSE
A minimum of two years of relevant work experience, preferably in financial service industry or professional firms
Good command of English and Chinese, fluent Putonghua is an advantage
Proficient in PC applications including hands-on-knowledge of Microsoft Office and Chinese word processing
Good organization and coordination skills
Hardworking with a strong sense of responsibility and integrity
Good interpersonal and communication skills
