Job summary

Hongkong Land Limited seeks an engineer to maintain telecom and SMATV systems in its commercial properties, coordinating with vendors and building teams for upkeep and upgrades.

The role covers project management, fault monitoring, and BIM project support, with 2+ years in building operations. Fluency in English and Chinese required. HK-on-site position with strong analytical expectations.

Qualifications

• Degree in Building Services / Electrical / Mechanical / Telecommunication Engineering.
• MHKIE or equivalent qualification preferred.
• Certificate of Grade B Registration of Electrical Worker preferred.
• Minimum 2 years postgraduate experience in commercial building operation and maintenance; more experience = Engineer.
• Strong analytical capabilities, sense of responsibility, self-motivated and able to work under pressure.
• Good PC skills with AutoCAD, MS Word, MS Excel, etc.
• BIM knowledge is an advantage.
• Fluency in written and spoken English and Chinese.

Responsibilities

• Handle tenant complaints related to these systems and coordinate with building teams for improvement works.
• Manage projects involving system upgrades, modifications, and the implementation of innovative technologies.
• Provide operational support for the Central Monitoring Centre.
• Monitor faults in building services systems and coordinate follow-up actions with building teams.
• Support Building Information Modeling (BIM) projects.

What you’ll need to succeed:

• Degree holder in Building Services / Electrical / Mechanical / Telecommunication Engineering.
• MHKIE or equivalent professional qualification is preferred.
• Holder of Certificate of Grade B Registration of Electrical Worker is preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of post-graduate experience in commercial building operation and maintenance. [Candidate with more experience will be considered as Engineer.]
• Strong analytical capabilities, sense of responsibility, self-motivated and able to work under pressure.
• Good PC skills with hands on experience in AutoCAD, MS Word, Excel, etc.
• Building information modelling (BIM) knowledge is an advantage.
