HK JEBN Limited seeks an Assistant Development Manager to lead the design and delivery of Smart Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Warehouse Control Systems (WCS). You will drive RFID integration, IoT sensor deployments, and AGV/AMR scheduling across automated facilities.

The role demands 5–8 years in WMS/WCS and supply chain software, with strong microservices experience and a track record in AS/RS or smart factory projects. Leadership and PMP exposure are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Automation, or related disciplines.
• 5–8 years’ solid hands-on experience in WMS / WCS / Supply Chain Logistics software development and system architecture.
• Proven track record in large-scale Automated Stereoscopic Warehouse (AS/RS) or smart factory warehouse projects.
• Strong knowledge in modern microservices architectures (e.g., Spring Cloud, Redis, Nacos, Gateway, Sharding, Message Queues) and high-concurrency data consistency.
• Experience with ERP integration across multiple platforms (Kingdee, Yonyou NC, SAP, Zheng Hang T8) is a significant plus.

Responsibilities

• Architect and deploy cloud-native SaaS warehouse platforms on Alibaba Cloud (AliCloud).
• Spearahead hardware integrations with AS/RS, PLCs, conveyors, and IoT devices.
• Lead a software team, establish coding standards, and drive PMP-based project delivery.
• Enable paperless operations via PDA terminals and mobile apps; coordinate on-site deployment and UAT.
• Explore Generative AI capabilities for warehouse intelligence and decision support.
• Develop middleware frameworks to standardize cross-system connectivity.

Assistant Development Manager (Smart Warehouse & Logistics Solutions / WMS)

WMS, WCS, AS/RS (Automated Warehouse), AGV, System Integration, Microservices, Spring Cloud, IoT

Key Responsibilities

Lead the end-to-end design, architecture, and implementation of Smart Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Warehouse Control Systems (WCS);

Gather and analyze complex business requirements from supply chain, logistics, and manufacturing stakeholders, translating them into robust technical blueprints and system architecture

Lead RFID system integration and industrial IoT sensor deployments for real-time inventory tracking, asset visibility, and automated data capture across warehouse operations;

Design and implement multi-type AGV/AMR collaborative scheduling and dispatch systems, including CTU (Carton-to-Person) robots, latent-lift AGVs, forklift AGVs, and robotic arm integration for end-to-end warehouse automation.

Architect and deploy cloud-native SaaS warehouse platforms on Alibaba Cloud (AliCloud), leveraging microservices (Spring Cloud, Nacos, Redis, ShardingSphere), containerization, and CI/CD pipelines for multi-tenant, scalable solutions;

Spearhead hardware/device integrations with automated stereoscopic warehouse systems (AS/RS), PLCs, automated conveyors, and IoT devices;

Design and optimize core warehouse algorithms and strategies, including wave picking, task dispatching, dynamic slotting/space optimization, and intelligent path planning;

Lead and mentor a software engineering team; establish coding standards, conduct code reviews, resolve critical technical bottlenecks, and manage project delivery using PMP methodologies;

Drive the development of paperless operations via PDA terminals, mobile applications (Mini-Programs), and real-time operational data visualization dashboards;

Coordinate on-site deployment, cross-system joint debugging, user acceptance testing (UAT), and system rollout across multiple logistics hubs and automated facilities;

Explore and integrate Generative AI capabilities (e.g., Qwen / LLM-based models) to enhance warehouse intelligence — including demand forecasting, intelligent Q&A for warehouse operations, and AI-assisted decision support;

Develop custom middleware frameworks and service governance platforms (e.g., workflow engines, API gateways, unified service registries) to standardize cross-system integration and accelerate project delivery;

Candidate with less experience will be considered as Senior System Analyst / System Analyst.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Automation, or related disciplines;

At least 5–8 years’ solid hands-on experience in WMS / WCS / Supply Chain Logistics software development and system architecture;

Proven track record in large-scale Automated Stereoscopic Warehouse (AS/RS) or smart factory warehouse projects;

Strong knowledge in modern microservices architectures (e.g., Spring Cloud, Redis, Nacos, Gateway, Sharding, Message Queues) and high-concurrency data consistency;

Familiarity with warehouse operation workflows (inbound, put-away, wave picking, sorting, outbound, inventory counting, and full lifecycle traceability);

PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or proven project management experience is a strong advantage;

Experience in PDA / Mobile terminal development and IoT device integration is highly preferred;

Able to work under pressure and manage tight delivery schedules in complex project environments;

Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, analytical, and teamwork skills;

Hands-on experience with RFID integration, barcode/scanner systems, and industrial IoT sensor networks for warehouse automation is highly valued;

Experience with AGV/AMR scheduling systems, robotic arm (manipulator) control integration, and multi-robot collaborative dispatch algorithms is a strong plus;

Familiarity with cloud deployment on Alibaba Cloud (AliCloud) or similar Chinese cloud platforms, including containerization (Docker/K8s), CI/CD, and SaaS multi-tenant architecture;

Exposure to Generative AI / Large Language Model (LLM) applications (e.g., Qwen, ChatGPT API integration) for intelligent warehouse operations, demand prediction, or conversational AI is a significant advantage;

Experience in developing custom middleware, service governance frameworks, or integration platforms to standardize multi-system connectivity;

Proficiency in ERP integration across multiple platforms (e.g., Kingdee, Yonyou NC, SAP, Zheng Hang T8) is a significant plus.
