Job summary

Leadingnation in Hong Kong is seeking a senior software development leader to guide architecture, drive technical standards, and ensure code quality across internal platforms and e‑commerce systems.

You will collaborate with product, engineering, and business teams to translate requirements into scalable solutions, mentor a team, and integrate AI tools to enhance development efficiency and product capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of hands-on software development experience, with at least 5 years in IT project management or a related role, and at least 3 years in a team leader or department head capacity. Experience in e-commerce is a strong advantage.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering projects with a strong portfolio.
• Hands-on coding experience is required; experience in a corporate in-house environment is a plus.
• An AI-oriented mindset — experience in leveraging AI tools or technologies to improve development efficiency or product capabilities is a plus.
• Excellent time management and project management skills, with a consistent ability to meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of native mobile app development (iOS / Android) is a plus.
• Hardworking, self-motivated, and capable of working independently.
• Mature, responsible, and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Design system architecture, database structure, and UI prototypes; oversee technical selection and process optimization.
• Develop or guide the development of complex, high-performance, and maintainable system modules.
• Manage QA processes, coordinate test plans, and conduct unit and functional testing to ensure quality.
• Write and maintain technical documents, user manuals, and system guidelines; communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
• Handle other ad-hoc tasks as assigned.
