Job summary

Dah Sing Financial Group seeks a solution architect to manage wealth management, private banking and retail banking projects. You will provide business analysis, consulting services to users and project teams, and deliver quality project documentation.

The role requires strong PM skills, stakeholder coordination, and practical banking domain knowledge. You will work under the Team Head in a dynamic financial environment and contribute to deployment of new technology and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Degree holder in Industrial / System Engineering / Management / IT or other related disciplines.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant banking or consulting experience.
• Familiar with banking products and services (retail banking or credit cards).
• Strong project management, people management, influencing and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English and Chinese.
• Certified Banker is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Support feasibility studies and solution sourcing.
• Manage or assist projects: identify and coordinate stakeholders, prepare project plans, follow up and review project tasks and milestones to ensure project progress.
• Facilitate and assist users / stakeholders to define user requirements, prepare and obtain user sign-offs for user requirement documentation.
• Develop the requirement specifications, UAT plan, procedure manuals and forms and assist users in UAT and project implementation. Arrange UAT environment setup with ITD and manage the UAT process.
• Support production migration/verification, post implementation review and production problem solving.
• Assist department / team head to formulate recommendations on the adoption and deployment of new technology, applications, management system, and improvement initiatives.
• Support users in enhancing work quality and operation efficiency.
• Follow relevant policies, procedures and guidelines in performing the above responsibilities, and support Team Head / Department Head in ad hoc assignments.

Job description

Main Responsibilities

• Support and provide advice in feasibility study / solution sourcing
• Manage or assist in managing projects: identify and coordinate stakeholders, prepare project plans, follow up and review project tasks and milestones to ensure that project progress is meeting the project plan. Escalate project issues to the Team Head / Department Head
• Facilitate and assist users / stakeholders to define user requirements, prepare and obtain user sign-offs for user requirement documentation
• Develop the requirement specifications, UAT plan, procedure manuals and forms and assist users in UAT and project implementation. Arrange UAT environment setup with ITD and manage the UAT process
• Support production migration/verification, post implementation review and production problem solving
• Assist department / team head to formulate recommendations on the adoption and deployment of new technology, applications, management system, and improvement initiatives

To meet the challenge, you should have the following qualifications and attributes:

• Degree holder in Industrial / System Engineering / Management / IT or other related disciplines
• Minimum4years of relevant working experience in banking industry or consulting firms, relevant practical experience inenterprise system deployment and reengineering projectsis preferable
• Familiar with banking products and services (especially in retail banking or credit card products)
• Strong project management, people management, influencing and analytical skills
• Proficiency in spoken and written English and Chinese
• Candidate with the qualification of Certified Banker is an advantage
