Job summary

AC&P Group (Asia) Limited seeks an Assistant Account Manager for the Retail Staffing team to support client relationships across Luxury Retail accounts in Asia Pacific. You will advocate for clients to improve execution and help retain business.

Responsibilities include acting as primary contact for accounts, sharing market updates, attending brand meetings, conducting shop visits, and advising on staffing levels by seasonality and traffic patterns.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent practical experience in Business, Marketing or Public Relations.
• 5+ Years Relevant Experience in Retail Management/Trade Marketing.

Job description

As an Assistant Account Manager under the Retail Staffing team, you will be responsible for supporting the team in managing the client relationships of our Retail Staffing Accounts in a specific category and follow through on behalf of our clients on all the appointed projects. You will be the internal advocate of our clients in improving our execution, and play an important role in client retention.

Key responsibilities

Act as the primary contact with assigned accounts, and the expert on our clients' business and markets, to understand their needs while proposing solutions.

Assist in the publishing of monthly market updates providing our clients market intelligence in our covered markets.

Participate in regular weekly and monthly brand meetings covering sales and operational topics.

Conduct onsite shop visits to review operational performance and staffing related matters.

Develop deep understanding on retail luxury markets in our Asia Pacific coverage.

Manage assigned accounts and internal stakeholders on staffing and retail operations.

Advise clients on optimal staffing levels based on seasonality, promotions, and store traffic patterns.

Follow-through on projects with Project Management to ensure the execution is aligned to client expectations.

Develops a sense of ownership of projects and passion for assignments.

Efficiently handle various ad hoc client and operational requests.

About you

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent practical experience in Business, Marketing or Public Relations.

5+ Years Relevant Experience in Retail Management/Trade Marketing

Relevant Experience in Luxury Brands & Travel Retail is a plus.

Sound knowledge of luxury industry in multiple categories (i.e. Perfume & Cosmetics, Watches & Jewellery, Wines & Spirits etc) across Asia Pacific is a plus.

Strong command of spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin

Excellent written English and Chinese
