Job summary

S&P Global Market Intelligence is seeking a Reporter – Asia Pac Investors to expand our Asia-Pacific investor coverage with a focus on private markets, including private equity, private credit and hedge funds. The role involves delivering exclusive reporting, building a regional network of sources, and contributing to thought leadership and industry events.

Qualifications

3+ years in financial services/asset management coverage reporting/editing.
Business level Japanese and English.
Experience covering LPs; knowledge of private equity, private credit or alternatives preferred.
Proven ability to generate exclusive stories and build industry contacts.
Strong interviewing, source development and relationship-building skills.
Excellent writing and communication skills; ability to explain market developments clearly.

Responsibilities

Deliver exclusive, forward-looking reporting on allocator activity across Asia-Pacific.
Develop deep Asia-Pacific private markets expertise and contribute to global coverage.
Pitch and write trend stories and long-form analyses.
Build a network of sources and maintain relationships with market participants.
Collaborate with Data and Insights teams to strengthen coverage.
