Job summary

S&P Global Market Intelligence in Hong Kong is seeking a Senior Reporter to expand Asia-Pacific investor coverage, focusing on private markets and alternatives. You will develop sources, craft exclusive stories and work with a regional editorial team to deliver forward-looking insights.

The role offers hybrid work from our Hong Kong office and opportunities to shape coverage across asset owners, consultants and wealth managers.

Qualifications

Five years of experience covering financial services, asset management or private markets.
Business-level English and Japanese language skills.
Experience covering LPs and knowledge of private equity or private credit.
Strong interviewing, sourcing and relationship-building skills.
Excellent writing and communication skills with ability to explain complex market developments clearly.
Ability to work independently within a global editorial team.

Responsibilities

Deliver exclusive, off-diary reporting on allocator activity across Asia-Pacific.
Produce forward-looking intelligence and analysis for subscribers.
Develop sources and monitor market developments and competitive dynamics.
Pitch trend stories and longer-form analysis.
Collaborate with regional and data teams to strengthen coverage.
Represent With Intelligence at industry events and interviews.
