Job summary

S&P Global Market Intelligence in Hong Kong is seeking a Senior Reporter – Asia Pac Investors to expand our private markets coverage across the region, including Hong Kong, Singapore, Mainland China and Korea. You will produce proprietary, forward-looking intelligence for asset managers, sovereign wealth funds and risk-aware investors.

You will build a network of senior industry sources, pitch trend stories, and collaborate with regional editors to shape a coordinated global coverage strategy

Qualifications

• Five years’ experience covering financial services, asset management or private markets.
• Business-level English and Japanese proficiency.
• Proven ability to generate exclusive stories and build a strong network of contacts.
• Strong interviewing, source-development and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to explain complex market developments clearly and concisely.

Responsibilities

• Proprietary Reporting and Content Development: deliver exclusive, off-diary reporting on allocator activity across Asia-Pacific.
• Produce forward-looking intelligence that provides meaningful value to subscribers and identify emerging trends.
• Pitch and write insightful trend stories and longer-form analyses.
• Build and maintain a strong network of investors, consultants and market participants.
• Collaborate with regional editors to support a coordinated global coverage strategy.
