Morningstar Asia Ltd in Hong Kong is seeking a capable research professional to evaluate Asia-focused fund managers and products, lead interviews, and produce concise rating notes and research reports.

You will contribute to framework development, collaborate with a global team of investment experts, and help shape methodologies while delivering timely, insightful analysis for internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degrees/CFA designation desirable.
3–5 years of financial industry experience, preferably fund manager due diligence.
Strong understanding of Asia-based investment managers and asset classes.
Ability to work with a global, interdisciplinary team of investment experts, researchers, data analysts and developers.

Responsabilités

Research and critically assess fund managers and products focused in Asia.
Lead fund manager interviews and write concise rating notes and research reports.
Formulate and justify investment opinions to internal and external stakeholders.
Regularly contribute to regional and local thought leadership to strengthen Morningstar’s brand.
Shape Morningstar methodologies and participate in ad-hoc analytical assignments.
