Job summary

VS Partners in Hong Kong is seeking a Research Analyst/Associate to join the Investment Team. You will conduct research on fund managers globally, support interviews, and prepare succinct DD reports while assisting business development with client materials.

The role requires a solid background in economics, finance or science, plus at least 3 years in asset management, brokerage or investment banking. Strong English communication and a proactive, team-oriented mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of working experience in top-tier asset managers, brokers or investment banks.
• Strong English writing and verbal communication skills.
• Overseas working/study experience is a plus.
• Logical, independent and risk-minded thinker with strong problem-solving capabilities.
• Self-starter with global aspirations and ability to handle time-pressured projects.
• Good team player who fits an entrepreneurial but collaborative style.

Responsibilities

• Research fund managers and their products in the US, China and other regions.
• Coordinate fund manager interviews and write succinct DD reports.
• Support Business Development with pitches and client review materials; assist communications with clients and prospects.
