Job summary

Such Films Ltd. in Hong Kong seeks a fresh, conscientious designer with a strong visual sense to join the team. You will brainstorm, develop and pitch visual concepts for TV commercials and digital campaigns, and lead art direction on set and in post-production.

You will build mood boards, storyboards, and style frames to articulate creative direction, collaborate with production crews, and present ideas to clients while upholding high aesthetic standards. Cantonese and English fluency preferred.

Qualifications

• Fresh Graduates or candidates with up to 1 year of experience in design, advertising, social media content creation, or video production are welcome to apply.
• Degree/Diploma in Visual Communication, Graphic Design, Advertising, Multimedia, or related disciplines.

SUCH/ is a digital platform that we also direct to celebrate local art and culture. Long-established in 1996 and currently located in Quarry Bay. We are now inviting qualified and conscientious candidates of high caliber to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

• Creative Conceptualization: Partner with Creative Directors, Copywriters, and Producers to brainstorm, develop, and pitch innovative visual concepts for TVCs, digital campaigns, and integrated brand experiences.
• On-Set & Production Art Direction: Lead the visual aesthetic during pre-production, filming, and post-production. Oversee set design, prop selection, wardrobe, color palette, lighting mood, and overall art execution on shoot days.
• Visual Execution & Storyboarding: Create high-quality pitch decks, mood boards, storyboards, and style frames to articulate creative direction to clients, directors, and internal teams.
• Production Collaboration: Collaborate closely with external production crews, stylists, set builders, and post-production houses (3D/VFX/Colorists) to bring creative concepts to life.
• Client Presentation: Confidently present creative visual ideas and storyboards to clients, taking feedback and refining concepts while maintaining high aesthetic standards.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Education & Experience: Fresh Graduates or candidates with up to 1 year of experience in design, advertising, social media content creation, or video production are welcome to apply. Degree/Diploma in Visual Communication, Graphic Design, Advertising, Multimedia, or related disciplines.
• Strong Portfolio / Showreel: A portfolio demonstrating strong visual sense, typography, branding, social media visuals, or video/art direction projects (school, personal, or commercial projects are all welcome).
• Software Proficiency: Highly proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign). Knowledge of Premiere Pro, After Effects, or 3D software (Cinema 4D / Blender) is a strong plus.
• On-Set Knowledge: Good understanding of TVC filming processes, set construction, camera framing, and post-production workflows.
• Soft Skills: Excellent leadership, communication, and time management skills. Ability to work under tight deadlines and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Language: Fluent in spoken and written Cantonese and English. Mandarin is a plus.
