Job summary

The Hong Kong Institute of Architects invites a talented architect to join our small, design-forward practice. You will lead architectural design and project management, applying BIM workflows using Archicad, Revit, Rhino and Grasshopper to deliver concept through detailed design.

You will coordinate with authorities, consultants and internal teams, set milestones, and ensure quality within timeline and budget while exploring innovative planning, interior and landscape ideas.

Qualifications

• Strong aesthetic sense and design skills are essential.
• Proficiency in BIM with Archicad, Revit, Rhino and Grasshopper.
• Creative, organized, self-motivated and committed.
• Proactive and a team player with positive attitude and integrity.
• Strong presentation and communication skills in English, Mandarin and Cantonese.
• Excellent command of English, Mandarin and Cantonese.

Responsibilities

• Perform architectural design and project management
• Responsible for architectural, planning, interior and landscape design projects, including concept, feasibility study, schematic and detailed design works
• Set milestone and coordinate on project design programs. Establish design briefs and design requirements
• Plan, monitor and control work standards and deliver quality results within timeline and cost budget
• Liaise with government authorities, consultants, contractors and internal parties with regard to the project progress
• Arrange consultant appointment and recommendation on consultants' proposal. Manage and coordinate with consultants and departments on project progress
• Perform product research and development
