About The Role

Reports to the Manager, Supply Chain, Asia Pacific, and responsible for:
Asia PacificSupply chain planning strategyto ensure supply reliability to the customer, ensure supply/demand balance, and own/consignment terminals inventory replenishment across the regions. And facilitate the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process and drive supply chain optimization.

About The Role:

• Supply chain planning to ensure 100% supply reliability to the customers in Asia Pacific (AP).
• Ensure supply/demand balance and own/consignment terminals inventory replenishment in China, Japan, Korea, Singapore, andThailand,
• Collaborate with regional operation teams and waterfront Shipping (WFS) on vessel rotation in AP.
• Facilitate Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process and driving for supply chain optimization.
• Stay close with regional teams to ensure the implementation of tactical purchasing decisions.
• Coordinate with global counterparties and swap partners to execute swap agreements.
• Support the implementation of a global supply chain strategy in AP.

Requirements:

• A degree or equivalent qualification is required - specialization in business, marketing, supply chain, logistics, or chemistry & chemical engineering
• Minimum 3-5 years experience in Supply Chain or Inventory
• Experience/knowledge in dealing with bulk chemical business or commodity products preferred.
• Strong data processing, reporting, and analytical capability
• Excellent attention to accuracy in details required in reporting
• Ability to understand complex problems and find ways for problem-solving.
• Excellent communication skills using fluent English; additional Asian language fluency (e.g. Mandarin, Japanese, Korean) will be a strong asset.
