Job summary

Michael Page Hong Kong is seeking a solutions engineer to provide pre-sales technical support for warehouse automation and robotics projects. You will analyze customer requirements, design workflows and layouts using AMR technologies, and prepare proposals, simulations and ROI analyses.

You will collaborate with sales, engineering, and product teams across APAC, conduct market research and support POC activities, documenting projects and driving continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in solutions engineering, sales engineering, warehouse automation, logistics engineering, or supply chain consulting.
• Solid understanding of warehouse operations, material handling equipment, and supply chain processes.
• Experience with warehouse design, process optimization, and automation technologies is preferred.
• Strong analytical capability and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with customer-facing experience.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with AutoCAD, simulation software, or WMS systems is advantageous.
• Fluent in English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin).
• Willingness to travel within Hong Kong, Greater China, and APAC when required.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-sales technical support and solution consultation for warehouse automation and robotics projects.
• Analyze customer operational requirements and translate them into automation solutions.
• Design warehouse workflows, layouts, and material handling processes utilizing AMR technologies.
• Prepare solution proposals, technical presentations, simulations, and ROI analyses.
• Work closely with sales teams to support customer meetings, demonstrations, and project presentations.
• Coordinate with internal engineering, product, and project teams to ensure solution feasibility.
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to support business development initiatives.
• Support proof-of-concept (POC) activities and customer site assessments.
• Prepare technical documentation and project reports for stakeholders.
• Drive continuous improvement by incorporating customer feedback and industry best practices.]
