Job summary

Michael Page International (HK) Ltd in Hong Kong seeks a Director of Quality, Asia Pacific for a global PCB manufacturer to shape the APAC quality and technology strategy. You will drive cross-site transformation and customer quality excellence, partnering with leadership across regions and functions.

The role requires 10+ years in senior quality leadership within PCB/electronics manufacturing, plus strong SPC, problem-solving and stakeholder management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in engineering or related field.
• 10+ years in senior quality leadership roles.
• Extensive PCB/advanced electronics manufacturing experience.
• Strong knowledge of PCB manufacturing processes and equipment.
• Fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
• Open to frequent travel.

Responsibilities

• Lead APAC Quality Engineering strategy for new technologies, processes and NPI.
• Partner with corporate, engineering and site leadership on regional roadmaps.
• Drive a culture of quality excellence and Zero Defect thinking.
• Oversee customer quality escalations across Asia, especially China.
• Lead complex root-cause corrective actions and present findings.
• Collaborate with factory GMs to drive quality priorities and improvements.
• Establish and approve QA KPIs and contribute to strategy.
• Apply SPC and data-driven methods to identify trends and improvements.
• Lead cross-site projects and knowledge sharing on quality best practices.
• Build strategic B2B customer relationships and strengthen the value proposition.
