APAC Operations Specialist — Asset Servicing & Trade Lifecycle

Job summary

Millennium is seeking a senior APAC operations professional to manage the trade lifecycle for Equity and Fixed Income products across APAC. You will lead corporate actions, asset servicing, and data validation, while driving governance and process improvements.

You’ll collaborate with portfolio managers, prime brokers and internal teams to ensure accurate settlements, timely reconciliations and robust controls in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 6–8 years of relevant experience in APAC markets, particularly in Equities and Convertible Bonds.
• Experience in Corporate Actions / Asset Servicing is preferred.
• Detail-oriented with strong ownership and ability to drive process changes in a fast-moving environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage Corporate Actions / Asset Servicing and Equities Syndicate deal processing procedures, ensuring accurate processing of all mandatory and voluntary corporate action events, as well as inventory controls and tax processing.
• Review and validate corporate action data received from vendors and prime brokers, monitoring service quality and engaging with providers to improve timeliness and accuracy of notifications and processing.
• Perform daily T+1 trade, position & cash reconciliations across multi-asset classes in APAC, coordinating with prime brokers and counterparties to resolve exceptions and discrepancies.
• Analyze processes to enhance operational efficiency and controls; participate in ad-hoc projects with internal stakeholders to implement new systems and workflows, focusing on Corporate Action processes.
• Liaise with brokers, external counterparties and vendors to resolve issues and improve procedures.
