Job summary

Ordinary Folk in Singapore or Hong Kong seeks a senior Operations leader to own the end-to-end supply chain, from sourcing to doorstep. You will optimize inventory, forecasting, and vendor performance across two markets while reporting directly to the founder and driving growth.

This is a hands-on role requiring 10+ years in healthcare or pharma operations, a track record of scaling, and comfort with a startup environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in operations, supply chain, or healthcare operations.
• Track record of scaling and optimising operations with measurable gains.
• Hands-on inventory and demand planning in a physical goods business.
• Pharmaceutical or healthcare supply chain experience, including regulatory compliance.
• Sourcing and new-product development with contract manufacturers or private-label partners.
• Proven leadership of a distributed team across multiple locations.
• Thrives in a startup environment; defines the systems, not inherits them.
• Based in Singapore or Hong Kong.
• Cantonese or Mandarin a real plus for Hong Kong; telehealth or prescription health experience a plus.
• Experience taking a newly launched facility or clinic from opening to scale is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supply end-to-end: manage distributors, manufacturers, contracts, SLAs.
• Inventory and demand planning across markets.
• Warehouse to doorstep: pick-pack accuracy, dispatch cut-offs, cold chain, last-mile.
• Cost per order: build reporting with Finance and reduce cost while maintaining service.
• New products: own path from brief to first delivered order with partners.
• Stand up new infrastructure as the business grows and scale capabilities.
• Compliance across SG HCSA and HK PHFO; manage recalls and audits.
• Lead and grow the operations team across markets; collaborate with other functions.
