Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or related field.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills to evaluate complex investment and portfolio risks.
• Working understanding of financial markets, investment products (fixed income, derivatives, alternative strategies).
• Ability to synthesize information and communicate risk clearly in writing and discussions with technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated ownership, curiosity, and attention to detail; able to work independently and across regions.

Responsibilities

• Provide independent risk oversight for APAC portfolios across Fixed Income and/or Alternative Investments.
• Analyze portfolio exposures and risk drivers (rates, duration, yield curve, credit, currency, derivatives, liquidity).
• Monitor market developments and identify emerging risks from macro, geopolitical, regulatory changes.
• Evaluate risk/return of investment strategies and challenge portfolio positioning.
• Escalate material risk developments with clear actions and questions.
• Produce and present actionable risk insights to portfolio managers and governance forums.
• Support investment reviews and risk committees; contribute to governance processes.
• Develop risk metrics, dashboards, and reporting to improve transparency.
• Leverage data analytics, automation, and AI tools to strengthen monitoring and risk intelligence.
