Job summary

J.P. Morgan Wealth Management seeks an Alternative Investments Specialist – Analyst in Hong Kong to join the Asia Pacific team within the Alternatives group.

The role focuses on sourcing, monitoring, and communicating with asset managers across hedge funds, private equity, private credit, and real estate funds for Global Wealth Management clients. The team collaborates with investment specialists, due diligence, and client service professionals across regions to deliver customized investment

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution is required.
• Strong interest in financial markets.
• Understanding of Private Banking investments platform and client needs.
• MS Excel and PowerPoint plus strong quantitative skills a must.

Responsibilities

• Support senior team members with third party and internally managed Hedge Funds, Private Equity and Real Estate funds on the global Private Bank platform.
• Prioritize and respond to sales force and client inquiries via email and phone.
• Liaise directly with third party funds to provide detailed information to PB clients.
• Attend manager meetings and take detailed notes.
• Create decks and resources with PowerPoint and Excel for internal and client use.
• Perform analyses on hedge funds, private equity funds, and real estate funds in portfolio and cash flow contexts.
• Coordinate with global alternatives team on structuring and due diligence of platform funds.
• Provide insight and assistance to the broader team on trends and investment opportunities in alternative assets.
• Provide asset class experience and expertise in client and internal situations.
• Monitor investment flows and team metrics.
• Handle other miscellaneous ad-hoc analyses & projects
