London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) in Hong Kong is seeking a Research Lead for Index Research & Design in APAC. You will lead the design and testing of new index methodologies, develop metrics, and contribute to Asia Pacific index innovation across equity, factor and sustainability themes.

Collaborating with product, sales and technology teams, you will build scalable analytics in Python and SQL, translate research into production-ready tools and guide junior researchers on a global team.

Formación

• 5+ years of relevant experience in quantitative investment research or related field.
• Strong knowledge of portfolio construction, portfolio simulation, optimization and attribution.
• Experience translating research into practical index solutions.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL; Matlab experience is a plus.
• Fluency in English and strong communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Index Research & Innovation: lead design and testing of new index methodologies and solutions; develop metrics and frameworks; analyze equity factors and themes across APAC.
• Quantitative Analytics & Research Tools: build scalable analytics and tools in Python/SQL; apply portfolio analysis and factor analysis; collaborate with Tech to productionize models.
• Index Development & Governance: support method development, construction, rebalance, and governance processes; ensure robust methodologies.
• Client & Stakeholder Engagement: present research findings to clients; support commercial discussions; collaborate with Sales and Product.
• Team Contribution & Development: mentor juniors; share knowledge; uphold research standards and timelines.
