Job summary

Private & Confidential is seeking a Head of HR, APAC to lead regional people operations across Asia-Pacific from Hong Kong. You will partner with the CEO and executive team to shape organizational design, total rewards, and compliance, driving workforce effectiveness and governance.

The role requires 15+ years of HR leadership, multi-market experience, and fluency in English with Cantonese/Mandarin. A master’s or executive HR certification is preferred, with immediate availability a plus.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive HR leadership experience.
• Experience leading regional HR operations across multi-market Asia-Pacific.
• Familiarity with multi-jurisdictional labor regulations and compliance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field; Master’s degree or executive HR certification preferred.
• Fluency in English; Cantonese and Mandarin proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as executive partner to CEO on organizational design and high-level people strategy.
• Define and execute the regional HR framework for efficiency and agility across APAC.
• Lead cross-border integration and organizational change initiatives.
• Oversee regional compensation, benefits, and executive remuneration programs and benchmarking.
• Ensure compliance with statutory employment standards across APAC locations.
• Oversee HRIS, payroll, benefits, and data analytics for leadership reporting.
• Develop and implement regional leadership development programs.
