Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking an Analyst in Credit Risk to manage a portfolio of Asia Pacific hedge funds and asset managers, acting as the primary risk contact for business partners. You will drive internal credit assessments and risk terms while supporting transaction structuring with legal teams.

You will review risk measurements, participate in due diligence, and collaborate across regions to maintain consistent global coverage and proactive monitoring in a fast-moving market.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics or a related field.
• Experience in counterparty credit risk analysis, with diligence on Hedge Funds, Asset Managers or Financial Institutions.
• Knowledge of derivatives (ISDA, CSA, GMRA) and related documentation.
• Understanding Hedge Fund and Asset Management industry and market dynamics.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.
• Experience in leading client credit due diligence, in person or via call.
• Ability to leverage AI tools / Large Language Models to automate processes and create presentations.

Responsibilities

• Own credit coverage for APAC hedge funds and asset managers, serving as primary risk contact for business partners.
• Recommend risk appetite and exposure limits based on diligence findings and fund performance.
• Review risk measures (e.g., margin/exposure) and challenge assumptions to fit client risk profiles.
• Participate in client due diligence meetings and drive follow-up analysis for timely credit decisions.
• Partner with business and legal teams to structure transactions and negotiate terms and documentation.
• Review trading activity and advise on margin requirements and risk mitigations.
• Build effective partnerships with internal and external stakeholders through clear communication.
• Apply hedge fund and asset manager investment knowledge to risk assessment.
• Collaborate with North America, EMEA teams to ensure consistent global coverage.
