Job summary

Worldpay is seeking a Risk Specialist for the APAC region to be the primary point of contact for all Enterprise Risk matters locally. You will embed risk accountability into business operations and support strategic objectives, working with stakeholders across APAC and globally to identify and mitigate risk.

You will lead initiatives, present risk assessment results to APAC Boards, and escalate issues through the ERM framework, contributing to sustainable business growth.

• Proven experience with risk management practices including risk and controls evaluation.
• Strong understanding of local risk management requirements across APAC jurisdictions.
• Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships at all levels of the organization.
• Exceptional communication skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Partner with key stakeholders to address complex, region-specific issues, balancing risk and reward in decision-making.
• Communicate professionally with executive and senior leaders, providing clear insights and recommendations.
• Apply sound judgment in assessing potential risks, operating within the Enterprise Risk Management Framework.
• Monitor and elevate issues to relevant stakeholders, serving as a trusted escalation point.
• Present risk assessment results to APAC Boards and other governance forums.
• Other related duties assigned as needed.
