Job summary

Groupe BPCE is seeking a Regional Operational Risk professional to support the implementation of the OR framework across Asia-Pacific. You will identify risk situations, conduct independent assessments, manage incident data, and produce KRIs and regular reporting.

The role collaborates with Front Office, Support Functions and Global OR teams. You will contribute to risk committees, perform deep-dive reviews, train regional correspondents, and assist in new product approvals.

Qualifications

• University degree and at least 6 years of experience in financial industry control functions.
• Strong understanding of risk management and operational risk practices.
• Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Knowledge of Corporate and Commercial Banking products as well as Capital Markets: Equity and Fixed Income.
• Ability to present complex data clearly and concisely.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage large workloads and conflicting priorities.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation of the Operational Risk framework in the region by ensuring risk situations are identified and under control.
• Provide independent assessment and monitoring of the firm\'s Operational Risk profile.
• Incident management and loss data collection.
• Production and management of Key Risk Indicators and weekly/monthly reporting.
• Management of the firm\'s risk mapping program and self-assessment process.
• Review and input into new product and complex transactions approval process.
• Relationship management with Front Office and Support Functions.
• Contribute to Operational Risk Committees.
• Deep-dive reviews and investigations following incidents or material projects.
• Delivery of training to regional operational risk correspondents.
• Coordinate with Global Operational Risk on reporting and tools.
• Participate in global initiatives to improve OR framework and processes.
• Support regional initiatives from an Operational Risk perspective.
• Liaison with other functions via meetings and committees.
• Assist Head of Operational Risk APAC in implementing the OR Framework.
