Job summary

Global Payments Inc. is seeking a Risk Specialist for our APAC region to serve as the primary ERM contact for Enterprise Risk matters, embedding risk accountability into business operations and supporting strategic objectives.

You will partner with APAC stakeholders, present risk assessments to boards, escalate issues, and help mitigate risk while upholding our framework and governance standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with risk management practices, including risk and controls evaluation.
• Strong understanding of local risk management requirements across APAC jurisdictions.
• Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships at all levels of the organization.
• Exceptional communication skills and attention to detail.
• Strong work ethic, sense of ownership, and accountability.

Responsibilities

• Be the primary ERM contact for APAC, embedding risk accountability into operations.
• Lead key risk initiatives and collaborate with APAC and global stakeholders.
• Identify and mitigate risk to support strategic objectives.
• Present risk assessment results to APAC Boards and governance forums.
• Escalate issues to relevant stakeholders as a trusted escalation point.
• Balance risk and reward in decision-making with stakeholders.
