Job summary

Mizuho Bank, Ltd.’s Asia Pacific Corporate Banking Department (APCB) seeks a senior corporate finance professional to support event-driven advisory and execution across APAC (excl. Japan) in Infrastructure & Utilities.

You will work with Mizuho group entities to originate, structure and pitch opportunities. The role requires strong financial modelling, M&A and debt/equity financing experience, and travel across Asia Pacific.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant corporate finance experience across advisory, M&A, debt and equity financing.
• Strong technical skills, including financial modelling, valuation and LBO analysis.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills with understanding of financial markets and products.

Responsibilities

• Support event-driven origination and execution initiatives for APAC Infrastructure & Utilities sector, including M&A advisory and corporate finance.
• Create top-quality presentation materials/pitch books to market opportunities to clients, including M&A opportunities and financing options.
• Coordinate with country, industry and product bankers to pitch appropriate products/solutions and participate in transaction execution.
• Act as team member with autonomy, coordinating with external counsel and internal stakeholders to advance transactions.
• Expand knowledge of sector and financing markets through research and networking.
• Train junior team members and strengthen deal origination and execution functions.
