Job summary

RGA is seeking a Chief Financial Officer for the Hong Kong and Singapore Business Unit to lead financial performance, planning, governance and forecasting with full accountability for financial results.

The role requires strategic advisory to the CEO, risk oversight across Finance and Valuation, and leadership to drive transformation, automation and a unified view of profitability and capital. A global, collaborative environment awaits.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or actuarial science (required).
CA/CPA or actuarial designation; CFA and other equivalents acceptable.
15+ years in progressive finance roles including FP&A, reporting, controllership and business partnering.
10+ years of people leadership with ability to manage multiple stakeholders in a matrix environment.
Experience with US GAAP and IFRS 17 is advantageous; change management and finance transformation experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead local market accounting, financial reporting and control activities.
Oversee financial close, budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
Provide strategic financial advisory to BU CEO and leadership team.
Drive finance transformation, automation and data integration initiatives.
Ensure regulatory compliance, governance and risk management across the BU.
Collaborate with regional teams to align capital, liquidity and profitability strategies.
Mentor and develop a high-performing finance team.
