Job summary

China Merchants Securities International Company Limited is seeking an Analyst to Associate, Trader for Institutional Equities in Hong Kong. You will precisely execute a range of trading instruments for institutional clients and provide timely market updates and professional recommendations.

The role requires 2+ years in HK's financial market, strong knowledge of financial instruments, and fluency in English and Chinese (Cantonese/Mandarin). A 5-day work week is offered to suitable candidates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree or above, major in Finance, Economics or related disciplines preferred.
• 2+ years of relevant working experience in Hong Kong financial market is required.
• In-depth professional knowledge and practical working experience in diversified financial instruments.
• Strong interpersonal skills, communication skills, presentation ability and problem-solving capability.
• Fluent written and spoken English and Chinese, proficient in both Cantonese and Mandarin, with outstanding Mandarin proficiency.

• Coordinate with internal departments to troubleshoot operational issues and establish long-term risk prevention mechanisms.
• Accept flexible work arrangements including shift duties and public holiday on-call services in Hong Kong as instructed by supervisors.

Job Requirements:

2+ years of relevant working experience in Hong Kong financial market is required. Experience in buy‑side / sell‑side institutional equity trading is highly preferred.

In-depth professional knowledge and practical working experience in diversified financial instruments.

Strong interpersonal skills, communication skills, presentation ability and problem-solving capability.

Fluent written and spoken English and Chinese, proficient in both Cantonese and Mandarin, with outstanding Mandarin proficiency.
