Job summary

CLSA in Hong Kong is seeking a junior professional to support the Strategy & Business Development team for the CITIC CLSA Capital Partners private equity business. The role involves assisting with report preparation, deck creation for clients and roadshows, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s in finance/accounting/business, has at least 2 years in the financial industry (IBD, audit or consulting preferred), and demonstrates strong

• At least 2 years in financial industry; IBD/audit/consulting preferred.
• Strong project and stakeholder management across seniority.
• Excellent interpersonal, communications, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Native Mandarin; proficient in English; Cantonese a plus.
• Ability to work independently and a good team player.

Job description

Responsible for supporting the Strategy & Business Development (S&BD) team activities of the CITIC CLSA Capital Partners alternative investment management business. This junior position will be hired in Hong Kong and provide report preparation support to overall private equity business.

Key Areas of Responsibilities

• Take an important supporting role for the fund-raising campaign for CLSA Capital Partners’ alternative investment strategies


• Coordinate and prepare report and presentation deck for clients and roadshow


• Maintain effective relationship with internal stakeholder and clients


• Group cooperation and coordination, liaison with various departments, subsidiaries and stakeholders within CITIC CLSA Capital Partners, CITIC CLSA and CITIC Securities


• Support ad-hoc activities and general administration tasks for the team

Requirements

• Master degree holder in finance/ accounting/ business, preferably from mainland China with solid Chinese dissertation and research report writing skill


• at least 2 years of work experience in financial industry - IBD, audit/ consulting firm experience is highly preferred


• Strong project and stakeholder management skills with ability to work across various levels of seniority within a large organization


• Excellent interpersonal, communications, presentation, report writing and negotiation skills


• Native in Mandarin and proficient in English; Cantonese is a plus


• Ability to work independently and a good team player
