Job summary

China Merchants Energy Shipping (Hong Kong) Company Limited is seeking an Analyst in Corporate Finance. Fresh graduates are welcome. The role focuses on preparing financial statements, consolidation, and regulatory reporting to SFC, along with budgeting and treasury management in a fast-paced environment.

You will liaise with external auditors and tax advisors, supporting headquarters with various reporting requirements. Strong English/Chinese skills and proficiency in MS Office are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in accounting, finance or related discipline with qualified accountant (HKICPA/ACCA) or equivalent.
• Solid understanding of FRR and SFC regulatory requirements.
• Proficient in English and Chinese; Mandarin fluency preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements, financial consolidation and regulatory reporting to SFC.
• Handle financial planning and annual budgeting.
• Manage liquid capital and cash flow; prepare financial analysis reports for Management.
• Monitor all treasury, banking and fundraising activities.
• Handle external audit and tax issues and liaise with external professionals.
• Act as main contact point with Headquarters for various reporting.

Requirements:

Proven track record in performing a broad range of financial functions and stakeholder management

Well-versed in FRR and SFC regulatory requirements is essential

Business acumen especially well versed with varieties of financial products such as equity, futures, bond, fund and ETF

Good command of spoken and written English/Chinese, fluent inMandarin

Well-versed in MS Office applications and Chinese word processing
