Job summary

Jefferies in Hong Kong seeks a motivated Analyst/Associate for the Equity Capital Markets team, focusing on Convertible Bonds and other equity-linked financing across Asia Pacific. The role supports origination and execution, working with senior bankers, syndicate, sales & trading, and clients through the transaction lifecycle.

Responsibilities include origination and execution of CBs, due diligence, modelling, pricing, presentation of analyses, and market intelligence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with strong academic credentials.
• Relevant experience in investment banking, ECM, DCM, equity-linked products or capital markets.
• Strong financial modelling, analytical and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the origination and execution of Convertible Bond, Exchangeable Bond and other equity-linked transactions across Asia Pacific.
• Assist in transaction execution, including feasibility analysis, due diligence, documentation, bookbuilding, pricing and settlement.
• Build financial models and perform analysis on transaction structure, valuation, dilution impact and key equity-linked metrics.
• Prepare client presentations, marketing materials and transaction analyses covering market conditions, valuation, accounting and regulatory considerations.
• Coordinate with issuers, syndicate, sales & trading, legal counsel and other stakeholders throughout the transaction process.
• Monitor equity-linked markets, maintain transaction comparables and provide market intelligence to support client coverage and execution activities.
• Participate in client meetings and pitches, presenting transaction analyses and equity-linked financing solutions.
