Job summary

Jefferies is seeking an Associate for Prime Services APAC Client Onboarding and Transitioning in Hong Kong. The role covers end-to-end onboarding of custody/DVP/swap accounts, client training on firm tech, and maintaining onboarding documentation within firm policy.

Responsibilities include CIP/KYC, coordinating paperwork for Cash and Synthetic Prime Brokerage, and ensuring smooth transitions of new accounts onto the platform while collaborating with Legal, Compliance, Risk and Credit teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of client onboarding experience in Prime Services.
• Extremely detail-oriented with strong time management.
• Ability to handle multiple requests in a team environment.
• Excellent follow-up skills and sense of urgency.
• Experience in capital markets operations and new accounts onboarding.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end onboarding and opening of custody, DVP and swap accounts.
• Support onboarding of new clients and train clients on Firm's technology.
• Maintain onboarding docs and account setup checklists.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for end-to-end onboarding and opening of custody account, DVP accounts and swap accounts within the Jefferies entities
• Support the onboarding of new clients and assist in training clients on firm's technology and processing
• Maintain onboarding documentation, account setup checklists and ensure all onboarding requirements are aligned with firm policy and control procedures
• Perform CIP/KYC for all new clients in Prime Services
• Coordinate the completion and review of client new account documentation for Cash Prime Brokerage and Synthetic Prime Brokerage
• Coordinate the account setup on the platforms, and demonstrate the applications directly for clients/prospects where needed
• Work with the sales and client service teams to transition all new accounts onto the platform
• Work with support areas across the firm for all onboarding requests including Legal, Compliance, Risk and Credit
• Work with other areas within the firm to address client requests, such as trading connectivity, margin inquiries, securities lending during onboarding

• Minimum 2 years experience in client onboarding and transitions within Prime Services environment
• Extremely detail-oriented
