Job summary

Goldman Sachs in Hong Kong is seeking an Analyst in Global Banking & Markets to innovate cross-asset market microstructure analytics and support execution decisions for clients across Asia. You will develop pre-trade, real-time monitoring and post-trade analytics infrastructure, and work on front-end and back-end Algos.

The role involves collaborating with Sales and Trading to tailor pitches, distributing analytics through partnerships, and engaging with Asia-based clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/Master's/Doctoral degree in a STEM discipline with strong mathematical background.
• Fluent Python and at least some database language experience (SQL, KDB).
• Interest in developing technical solutions to empower/scale the business.

Responsibilities

• Innovate and maintain cross-asset market microstructure analytics to assist clients with execution decisions.
• Develop pre-trade, real-time monitoring and post-trade analytics infrastructure for internal and external audiences.
• Product development and parameter optimisation of Algos on front-end and back-end.
• Collaborate with Sales and Trading to tailor pitches and engage Asia-based clients.
