Job summary

Goldman Sachs in Hong Kong seeks a quantitative analyst within Prime Brokerage & Synthetic Products. You will build scalable analytics platforms, model PnL, capital and returns, and identify revenue opportunities by partnering with Sales, Trading and senior management.

You will develop client analytics tooling, support pricing for new clients, and help optimize existing business, while contributing to data infrastructure and AI-driven solutions for business problems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/Master's in a relevant field (Applied Mathematics, Engineering, Physics or Finance).
• 1+ year experience in a quantitative role.
• Strong programming skills in C++, Java, Python or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of advanced statistics and probability.
• Track record of solving quantitative problems under pressure.
• Interest in data engineering and infrastructure buildout (data pipelines and databases).
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to learn new business & tech quickly.
• Ability to work on multiple projects and deliver results.

Responsibilities

• Develop and refine client analytics platforms including PnL, capital and returns attribution.
• Modeling and attribution work to identify revenue opportunities at client and business levels.
• Participate in pricing new clients and optimizing existing business.
• Design, build, and maintain the technology stack and data infrastructure for Client Analytics.
• Explore Agentic AI solutions to solve business problems.
