UL Solutions is seeking a Principal Engineer - Digital AI to lead governance, lifecycle assurance, and strategic offerings across AI systems. The role focuses on translating regulations and customer needs into scalable services, while guiding enterprise and cloud AI initiatives.

The position requires deep expertise in AI safety, model lifecycle, and risk management, with strong stakeholder engagement and technical leadership capabilities. Hybrid work with global onsite presence.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, AI, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 15+ years in software platforms, cloud systems, AI/ML, cybersecurity, or related tech domains; 5+ years with AI.
• Experience translating AI governance and regulatory requirements into evaluation methodologies, controls, or services.
• Ability to evaluate AI systems for failure modes, risks, and control gaps (fairness, privacy, bias, explainability).
• Knowledge of AI evaluation/testing methods: benchmarking, red-teaming, scenario testing, risk-mitigation controls.
