Job summary

Morgan McKinley is seeking an AI Solution Architect to bridge executive strategy and hands-on technical delivery, leading ideation, prototyping, and enterprise-wide deployment of AI initiatives across our production operations.

As a key strategic partner to the CIO, you will co-present with leadership to secure buy-in, deploy production-grade POC solutions, and collaborate with the Data Architect to integrate enterprise data models with AI applications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
• 8–10+ years in software architecture, solution design, or emerging technologies with emphasis on AI/ML applications and enterprise deployment.
• Experience delivering architecture and solutions using Azure Data Services, Power Platform, Microsoft 365, and Copilot Studio.

AI Solution Architect

We are seeking a high-caliber AI Solution Architect to bridge executive strategy and technical execution. In this role, you will lead the ideation, prototyping, and enterprise-wide deployment of modern AI initiatives across our production operations.

As a key strategic partner to the CIO, you will lead executive presentations and business cases to secure executive alignment and buy-in for future-state innovation. Technically, you will remain deeply hands-on—taking AI concepts off the whiteboard and deploying functional Proof-of-Concept (POC) solutions directly to production. You will collaborate closely with our Data Architect to ensure seamless integration between enterprise data models and AI applications.

Core Responsibilities

1. Executive Strategy, Pitching & Buy-In

• Co-present with the CIO to C-suite executive leadership, pitching high-impact AI strategies, innovation roadmaps, and POC business cases to secure funding and buy-in.
• Translate complex AI/ML capabilities into clear, value-driven narratives for non-technical enterprise stakeholders and business unit heads.
• Conduct tabletop research and technical feasibility assessments on emerging generative AI, agentic workflows, and Microsoft Copilot features.

2. Hands-On Prototyping & POC Execution

• Architect, build, and deploy production-grade Proofs-of-Concept (POCs) that address critical operational bottlenecks in our enterprise environment.
• Leverage the full Microsoft tech stack to rapidly build custom copilots, automated workflows, and intelligent business applications.
• Establish best practices for AI governance, prompt engineering, agent orchestration, and operational deployment across regional engineering teams.

3. Cross-Functional Architecture & Data Collaboration

• Work hand-in-hand with the Data Architect to design underlying data pipelines, enterprise storage, and integration layers required for AI/LLM applications.
• Support regional development leads in Mainland China and overseas with deep technical guidance, ensuring POCs scale reliably into business-as-usual operations.

Key Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
• Experience: 8–10+ years in software architecture, solution design, or emerging technologies, with a strong emphasis on AI/ML applications and enterprise deployment.
• Microsoft AI Ecosystem Mastery (Mandatory): Deep, practical expertise in architecture and solution delivery using Azure Data Services, Power Platform, Microsoft 365, and Copilot Studio.
• Executive Presentation & Communication: Exceptional presentation, storytelling, and negotiation skills—proven track record of pitching complex technical solutions alongside C-level leadership.
• Technical Craftsmanship: Development background. Demonstrated ability to build and deploy actual code/solutions/models. Candidates with purely strategic, sales, or non-technical consulting backgrounds will not suit the hands-on execution demands of this position.
• Data Collaboration: Strong familiarity with relational/non-relational data architectures, enterprise analytics, and integration patterns (working closely with Data Architects).
• Language Skills: Trilingual fluency in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin is mandatory for cross-regional business pitches and technical leadership.
• Mobility: Occasional travel to Mainland China and overseas sites for deployment and stakeholder engagement.
