Job summary

Qualifications

The Role

At Capco, we're looking for an AI Product Owner to help deliver meaningful AI transformation across financial services.

Working with a leading Corporate & Investment Bank, you'll play a key role in shaping and delivering AI solutions across Credit Risk, lending and credit decisioning. You'll bridge business priorities and technical delivery, turning complex requirements into practical AI products that create measurable value.

You'll collaborate with business stakeholders, data scientists, engineers and risk teams to guide AI products from discovery through delivery and continuous improvement. You'll also champion responsible AI practices, including human oversight, transparent decision-making and the effective use of AI-enabled workflows.

What You’ll Do

• Define and deliver AI product strategy, identifying opportunities to improve credit risk, underwriting and lending through AI-enabled decision support, automation and responsible innovation.
• Lead product discovery, use‑case prioritisation and business case development, translating business challenges into clear product requirements and measurable outcomes.
• Own the end-to-end AI product lifecycle, from ideation and backlog management through agile delivery, model performance monitoring and continuous improvement.
• Partner with data science, engineering and platform teams to deliver scalable AI solutions, using approved AI tools and workflows to improve delivery efficiency, quality and insight.
• Collaborate with Credit Risk, compliance and business stakeholders to ensure alignment with AI governance, model risk management and regulatory requirements, including appropriate human review, auditability and escalation pathways.

What We’re Looking For

• Approximately 5–8 years of relevant experience in financial services, consulting, product management or AI/data transformation, with equivalent experience also welcomed.
• Experience working as a Product Owner or Product Manager, with the ability to translate business needs into prioritised product roadmaps, requirements and delivery outcomes.
• A practical understanding of AI and machine learning, including model development, evaluation, deployment and ongoing monitoring.
• Experience delivering AI, data or digital solutions within financial services, ideally involving risk, lending, credit decisioning or related business processes.
• Effective stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across business and technical teams, applying sound human judgement and responsible AI principles throughout product delivery.

Bonus Points For

• Exposure to Credit Risk, credit scoring, risk modelling or automated decision engines.
• Familiarity with AI technologies, including Generative AI and Agentic AI, and their practical applications within financial services.
• Experience working with AI governance, model risk management or regulatory requirements in banking.
• Knowledge of agile delivery methodologies and collaboration with cross‑functional AI engineering and data science teams.
• Experience exploring approved AI tools, intelligent automation or AI‑enabled workflows to improve product discovery, analysis and delivery.
