Job summary

APJ Software (Hong Kong) Company Limited seeks an AI Lead for Banking Systems to drive large-scale AI initiatives across wealth management, risk, and fraud detection. You’ll collaborate with business units to deliver regulated banking software, manage projects using Agile or Waterfall, and ensure HKMA, AML, and KYC compliance.

The role requires 7+ years in enterprise AI/FinTech with 5+ years in banking, a STEM degree, and fluency in English and Cantonese.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related discipline.
Minimum 7 years of system development experience in large-scale AI or enterprise systems, with at least 5 years in banking/FinTech/financial services.
Deep understanding of banking operations, financial products, and regulatory frameworks (HKMA, AML, KYC).
Proven ability to conduct requirement workshops with financial stakeholders and model banking business processes.

Responsibilities

Lead development, testing, and maintenance of large-scale AI applications for banking domain.
Collaborate with banking business units (Retail, Corporate, Risk, Compliance) to deliver high-quality software.
Manage end-to-end project delivery using Agile or Waterfall; handle risk, resources, and stakeholder communications.
Act as hybrid Business Analyst to elicit, analyze, and document banking requirements; translate workflows into AI use cases.
Ensure AI solutions and data pipelines comply with HKMA, AML, KYC and data privacy standards.
Troubleshoot mission-critical banking applications to ensure zero-downtime functionality.
Champion GenAI modernization and deployment of LLMs and AI Agents.
