Role Overview

We are looking for a business-oriented AI professional who understands industries, clients, and business problems, and can turn those insights into practical, scalable AI solutions.

The AI FDE is a client-facing, business-driven AI delivery role. Rather than focusing on algorithm research or model development, you will work closely with clients to understand their business challenges, identify where AI can create real value, and translate business needs into AI-powered solutions that can be tested, deployed, and scaled.

We care deeply about whether you understand the business, the industry, the client, and why they are willing to pay for a solution. You should also be able to understand what AI can and cannot do, make sound judgments around AI application, and bridge the gap between business and technology.

For our Hong Kong market, we are particularly interested in candidates with experience working with Hong Kong Government, financial services, banking, insurance, or real estate clients, as well as strong local stakeholder management capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

1. Business & Industry Understanding — Core

• Develop a deep understanding of clients’ business models, operating processes, key challenges, and business objectives.
• Work closely with business leaders and senior stakeholders to identify business priorities and define clear success criteria.
• Translate complex or ambiguous business problems into clear and actionable AI use cases.
• Identify opportunities where AI can create meaningful business value and distinguish them from use cases where AI may not be the right solution.
• Build strong industry knowledge, particularly across financial services, real estate, and the Hong Kong public sector.

2. AI Application Design & Solution Delivery

• Design AI-powered solutions based on real business objectives; hands-on model training or algorithm development is not required.
• Understand and appropriately leverage LLMs, AI platforms, foundation models, industry models, AI Agents, RAG, and other mainstream AI capabilities.
• Evaluate and apply mainstream AI tools based on their capabilities, limitations, cost, and implementation requirements.
• Lead or participate in PoCs and pilot projects, validate business value, and drive successful solutions toward production.
• Make practical trade-offs between business value, effectiveness, cost, scalability, reliability, and implementation complexity.
• Continuously explore new AI capabilities and identify opportunities to apply them to real-world enterprise scenarios.

3. Client Delivery & Cross-functional Collaboration

• Work directly with clients’ business, IT, data, and technology teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Act as the bridge between business and technology, translating business needs into practical AI solutions and making technical concepts accessible to business stakeholders.
• Coordinate with internal engineering, product, platform, and data teams to ensure successful solution delivery.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and drive projects forward in complex and ambiguous environments.
• Bring insights and lessons learned from client engagements back to internal product and platform teams to improve our AI capabilities and solutions.

Requirements

Must-have

• Strong industry or business domain experience, with backgrounds in management consulting, industry solutions, business leadership, product management, solution delivery, or related fields.
• Strong ability to understand and articulate business objectives, processes, KPIs, and underlying business problems.
• Proven ability to engage with senior business stakeholders, communicate effectively, build trust, and influence decision-making.
• Strong project delivery and stakeholder management experience, with the ability to drive complex initiatives from ambiguity to execution.
• Strong commercial and business acumen — able to understand how businesses create value and why clients invest in solutions.
• Fluent spoken English, with the ability to use English as a working language.
• Fluent Cantonese, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders in Hong Kong.
• Experience working with Hong Kong Government, financial services, banking, insurance, real estate, or related industries is highly preferred.

4、AI / Technology Capabilities

• Understanding of the fundamental capabilities and applications of AI / LLMs, including intelligent Q&A, knowledge management, workflow automation, analytics assistance, content generation, and AI Agents.
• Understanding of how to design and apply AI Agent-based solutions and AI-powered workflows.
• Ability to assess the limitations, risks, and appropriate use cases of AI, rather than applying AI simply for the sake of using AI.
• Comfortable working with engineering, data, and platform teams; deep technical or algorithmic expertise is not required.
• Experience with AI applications, data products, digital transformation, enterprise software, or technology-enabled business solutions is a plus.

Nice to Have

• Experience in enterprise-level solution design, management consulting, or industry-specific consulting / delivery .
• Experience working with Hong Kong Government or public sector organizations .
• Strong industry experience in financial services or real estate , with a solid understanding of relevant business processes and client needs.
• Experience delivering AI, data, automation, digital transformation, or enterprise platform projects .
• A clear point of view on how AI can be applied to specific industries and business scenarios.
