Job summary

Robert Half Hong Kong Limited is assisting a global venture capital and private equity client in Hong Kong to recruit a System Product Manager. The role sits between Finance and Engineering to own the product strategy for the finance technology stack and AI-driven workflows.

You will manage core internal platforms, integrate 3rd-party accounting systems, and lead end-to-end agile releases. Strong Mandarin, 5+ years in FinTech product roles, and deep SDLC expertise are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as a technical product manager or business analyst, preferably in FinTech, banking, Private Equity, or Asset Management.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration or related disciplines.
• Direct experience with LLMOps, agentic workflows, prompt engineering, and context window management.
• Practical understanding of model evaluation, agent tracing tools, hallucination mitigation, and API cost/performance tuning.
• Proven track record of translating complex financial processes into technical specs, user stories, and actionable PRDs.
• Experience with SDLC, UAT orchestration, QA protocols, and change management.
• Experience managing external software vendors, enforcing SLAs, and driving integrations.
• Strong stakeholder management bridging Finance executives, regional IT teams, and engineers.
• Proficiency in Chinese (Mandarin) is a must.

Responsibilities

• Finance Platform Ownership: drive roadmaps, backlogs, and PRDs for core finance apps.
• Lead end-to-end agile releases (QA, UAT, change management) and automate fund reporting, data ingestion, and cash tracking.
• Scope and launch AI capabilities for automated data extraction, reporting, and knowledge retrieval.
• Monitor traces and logs to debug failures, reduce hallucinations, and refine execution logic.
• Optimize prompt architecture, model routing, token efficiency, and API latency.
• Drive AI adoption and tool enablement across the business.
• Vendor & Technical Operations: manage vendors, access controls, security, and audit readiness.
• Support system configurations, platform health, and IT-business alignment.
