This role focuses on exploring and developing Large Language Model (LLM) applications in clinical trials. You will develop AI-assisted tools such as intelligent Q&A and text summarization systems, deploy AI models into business systems, and drive deep integration between AI and clinical trial management software.
Key responsibilities
Explore the application of Large Language Models (LLMs) in clinical trials, including text generation, natural language understanding, and Q&A systems; develop AI-assisted tools such as intelligent Q&A and text summarization to enhance the automation level of clinical trials.
Responsible for LLM fine-tuning, parameter tuning, and performance optimization, utilizing techniques such as training data preparation, Prompt Engineering, and RAG to improve model accuracy and efficiency in clinical trial scenarios.
Deploy AI models into company business systems to achieve deep integration between AI and clinical trial management software; develop business-oriented AI functional modules, including system feature development and data analysis applications.
Apply machine learning/deep learning algorithms and statistical methods to extract value and insights from clinical trial data to support business decision-making; continuously optimize model performance, stability, and scalability when handling large-scale data.
Establish verification and testing processes for AI applications, formulate test plans and acceptance standards to ensure delivered AI features meet business requirements with reliable quality; continuously collect user feedback to drive iterative product optimization.
Continuously track cutting-edge developments in LLMs and AI technologies, explore innovative applications in clinical trials, provide technical reference and advice to the team, and support product evolution.
Collaborate with product, R&D, and business teams to provide AI technical guidance and solutions; draft algorithm/model design and development documentation, and organize internal technical sharing sessions to elevate overall team technical capabilities.
About you
Master's degree or above in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or related majors; academic requirements may be relaxed for candidates with outstanding capabilities.
2+ years of experience in AI-related development, with experience in the clinical trial domain preferred; requirements may be relaxed for fresh graduates.
Proficient in Python, familiar with mainstream ML/DL frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, etc.) and LLM fine-tuning toolchains; possess experience in NLP and LLM application development, with knowledge of Fine-tuning, RAG, Prompt Engineering, etc.
Possess experience in business system integration, capable of embedding AI capabilities into software products and completing deployment verification; familiar with engineering practices such as model deployment, API service encapsulation, and performance tuning.
Solid foundation in mathematics and statistics, familiar with data mining, analysis, and preprocessing techniques; strong logical thinking and analytical skills, capable of breaking down complex business scenarios into solvable AI solutions.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills, capable of driving cross-departmental implementation of AI solutions; basic English reading and writing skills to read technical documentation and industry materials.
