Job summary

Morgan McKinley Limited is seeking an experienced IT project delivery leader to own end-to-end AI and data solution delivery. You will work with business and technical teams to translate requirements into practical designs and clear delivery plans.

The role focuses on prioritising backlogs, coordinating multiple teams, and driving adoption and benefits realisation within a dynamic energy sector environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in IT/CS/Information Engineering or related discipline.
• 8+ years of IT project delivery experience.
• Certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, Scrum Master preferred.
• Experience delivering IT projects or programmes from requirements through implementation and adoption.
• Experience translating business needs into clear solution requirements, designs and delivery plans.
• Practical understanding of AI, machine learning, automation, analytics and data solutions.
• Experience using analytics tools such as Power BI.
• Hands-on engagement with technical teams; coding not required.
• Strong stakeholder-management, communication, facilitation and influencing skills.
• Experience managing multiple initiatives, dependencies and complex stakeholder expectations.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end delivery of AI and data solutions from intake through measurement.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to document requirements and identify improvements.
• Translate business needs and constraints into practical solution designs and delivery plans.
• Identify and assess AI and data use cases addressing business challenges.
• Define and prioritise the delivery backlog, milestones and deployment plans.
• Apply Agile and Scrum practices, plan sprints, refine backlog and resolve impediments.
• Coordinate delivery across multiple teams and third-party partners.
• Coach delivery teams bridging business requirements with technical approaches.
• Lead change management, user adoption and benefits measurement activities.
• Identify and mitigate delivery, AI/data and governance risks.
