Job summary

The Legislative Council Secretariat is inviting qualified professionals for the role of Information Technology Officer within the Information Technology Office, Administration Division. The officer will conduct AI and cybersecurity research, manage IT operations, and lead secure AI projects while coordinating with vendors and internal teams in Hong Kong.

Qualifications

• A recognized university degree in electronic engineering, computer science, IT, AI engineering, data science, cybersecurity or equivalent.
• At least six years of hands-on experience in AI/cybersecurity/IT systems planning, design, programming and support.
• Knowledge of AI frameworks and programming languages (e.g., Python) and security practices.

Responsibilities

• Conduct AI and cybersecurity research, product analysis, and project development.
• Provide daily IT operations and support for systems, cybersecurity tools, and AI-powered solutions.
• Lead AI-related and cybersecurity projects, including tender prep, system analysis, design, development, testing and training.
• Assist in funding proposals, cost-benefit analysis and budget control.
• Support AI chatbot agents, LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG, and secure AI app development.
• Develop, deploy, and tune multimodal LLMs and multi-LLM agent collaborations with security controls.
• Monitor vendor performance against cybersecurity and data protection standards.
• Enhance business applications for integration with AI and security features.
• Assist in cybersecurity operations: vulnerability scanning, patching, monitoring, and incident response.
