Job summary

Wati seeks an Agentic Engineer - Backend to design, build, and optimize backend systems powering WATI’s next-generation AI Agent products. This role focuses on reliable, scalable APIs and services, collaborating with product, AI, and frontend teams to deliver intelligent automation solutions that enhance customer experience and business efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS or related field.
• 3–5 years of development experience.
• Experience with backend/full-stack development.
• Hands-on LLMOps (Dify, Coze, n8n, LangChain) 1000+ hours.
• Knowledge of AI agent frameworks.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Experience with agent systems or automation frameworks is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build and optimize AI Agents, focusing on decision-making, task scheduling, and multimodal data processing.
• Design system architecture and develop backend services using Python or Go.
• Integrate multiple external APIs and data sources for intelligent automation.
• Continuously improve system performance, usability, and scalability based on real-world feedback.
• Work closely with product, design, and business teams to translate ideas into scalable solutions and deliver them quickly.
